Crochet floor Rug


crochet hearth rugRichly textured Pineapple motif is adapted to a floor carpet. Adds warmth in front of the hearth or makes a practical addition for kitchen area and bath.

Approximate completed dimensions: 44 by 32.

Materials:

  1. 35 ozs. 4-ply worsted-weight yarn
  2. Size J crochet hook, or size to get provided gauge.

Gauge:

11 two fold crochet = 4
To save lots of time, make time to check always gauge.

Note: utilize double strand throughout.

Raised dual Crochet: whenever worked on a right side line: Yarn over (yo), place hook in space before stitch (st) from front to back, bring hook across right back of st and out in the area after st, going from back to front and across the post for the stitch, draft a cycle, (yo and draw through 2 loops) two times. When labored on a wrong side line: Yo, place connect in room before st from back-to-front; bring hook across front associated with the st and in after that room after the st, going from front side around post associated with st also to straight back; draft a loop, (yo and draw through 2 lops) two times.
